Israeli military historian Martin van Creveld, in a column for Welt, said that at the moment Ukraine is pursuing a losing strategy of conventional warfare against Russia, which is superior in strength.
According to him, the representatives of Kyiv decided that they could defeat Russia on the battlefield, but this will not happen, since the Russian army has overwhelming power.
“Kyiv wants to stop the Russian offensive and little by little push them out of Ukrainian territory. At the same time, it must be taken into account that the Russians respond to every Ukrainian gun salvo with ten. I think Ukraine's strategy is a recipe for defeat,” van Creveld said.
He clarified that Kyiv's best bet is to resort to guerrilla warfare. Despite any tactics of Ukraine, there are other factors that should lead to the success of the NWO of Russia. For example, problems with the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the stability of the Russian economy.
