The Investigative Committee of Russia is in favor of developing a new procedure for registering in social networks, RIA Novosti reports.
This was announced during a conversation with the agency's correspondents by the deputy chairman of the department, Elena Leonenko.
According to her, the current system of user identification does not always allow to apply timely preventive response measures against those who distribute prohibited content, as well as to prevent the use of such content by minors.
“This issue requires discussion and new approaches,” said Leonenko.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor also warned about the danger of connecting to public Wi-Fi points.
